After the verification is successful there are four steps to complete for account activation.
1 ) General Information
Choose your account type and name.
2 ) Contact Information
Fill in additional information such as contact details, registered address and account administrator user details in case you selected a business as account type.
3 ) Verification
Fill in your registration institution and reference and upload your identification documents.
4 ) Confirmation
By the last step all filled in information is displayed. Make sure all the information is correct before clicking submit.
After you completed the Getting Started steps you will be redirected to the dashboard page.
Connect your bank and / or mobile money account
After you are redirected to the dashboard page there is one step left before you are able to use your account which is to connect your existing bank and / or mobile money account. In the widget Business Setup you can click on “Payout Accounts – Connect your bank and mobile money accounts” to open the popup.
Connect Bank account
In this section you connect your bank account for payouts from ClickPesa. Setting this up requires your bank name, bank account name, bank account number and the currency of the account in particular. Please make sure that the bank account setup is done with your bank account detail to avoid that a payout is send to the wrong bank account, ClickPesa is not responsible for any mistakes made in setting up your bank account.
Connect Mobile money account
In this section you connect your mobile money account to ClickPesa for payouts. Setting this up requires the name of the mobile wallet provider, mobile money account number, and mobile money account name. Please make sure that the mobile money account setup is done with your mobile money account details to avoid that a payout is send to the wrong mobile money account, ClickPesa is not responsible for any mistakes made in setting up your mobile money account.
After this is done don’t forgot to fill in your company description and website under User Settings and to add your TIN and VAT Number under Payment Settings.
